A love that surpasses knowledge...

'...so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord's holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge--that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.' Ephesians 3:17-19

God created us to love us.  I can't wrap my mind around that idea completely.  He loves me...Me... The one that is full of selfish pleasure.  He loves me so much he sent His only Son to die on the cruel cross so I could be with Him for eternity.  That death on the cross spanned the vastness of my sins...my ugly wretched sin.  He did this for me...and you and anyone that chooses to believe.  What an amazing God we have... What an amazing gift...talk about the gift that keeps on giving.  It is the one thing that is perfect for everyone, if they will only accept it. 

Love is not an emotion - it is an action.  Christ's death was an action.  His ascension and conquering of death..all actions.  Once we accept His gift (another action word), we are to transform ourselves from our old ways... (action again) into a new creation in Christ.  Action, action, action.  This love He gives us is all about action.  It is about moving from our old selves to our new selves to serve the our Lord and share His love with others, through action. 





I continuously seek to understand God's love for His creation.  He is much more tolerant and forgiving than I ever could.  I strive to follow the example He gave me in Jesus.  He was the perfect lamb, white as snow.  I pray for the ability to love like God.  I pray for the chance to forgive as I am forgiven.  I seek to see the face of my beloved Savior in all the people I see...I pray they see the face of  my Savior in me.

This is my mark on the world wide web. Here I want to share my thoughts with those that chose to stop and visit. I hope that this will be encouraging and edifying to to others. This will allow my family and friends to catch up with us with out being on FB or MySpace. On that note..off to get JC ready for bed and possible add some photos here in a bit.
